Latinas Increasing Political Strength (LIPS) is turning 15! 💋🎂 We will celebrate the power of young Latinas everywhere the best we know how – with the Quinceañera of our dreams! LIPS is COLOR’s signature youth leadership development program for youth ages 16-21 across Colorado and engages participants in a vibrant community of activists. LIPS mentors the next generation of leaders to promote the advancement of our communities and advocate for reproductive justice.
With over 40 proposed anti-abortion bills and four anti-abortion ballot measures defeated since 2009, the last 15 years prove that the Reproductive Justice movement is resilient, and young Latinas in Colorado have been integral to the movimiento. COLOR builds the capacity of young people with tools and resources to increase their political power, mobilize their peers to take action on issues they care about, and contribute to the movement for reproductive justice. LIPS serves as an on ramp for young activists to become engaged with organizing and advocacy.

- VIP ticket holders will be allowed early arrival for an intimate meet and greet with special guests, Representative Elizabeth Velasco, Representative Manny Rutinel, Representative Lorena Garcia, and Representative Tim Hernandez with access to the outdoor patio with live entertainment by Nico Martinez & the Latin Fusion Trio. VIP holders will receive a designated parking spot,* automatic entry for a special drawing to win an original Ojo de Dios by local Chicano artist Cal Duran, and limited edition LIPS swag!
