COLOR’s very own Spanish-language radio program, Mujeres de COLOR, launched in April 2017!
Four months later, the radio station hosting our show began, and continues to this day, streaming some of its programming via live Facebook feeds. We know this is a direct response to the approach COLOR took since the start of Mujeres de COLOR of reaching audiences via social media, a successful and innovative way to connect with technology users.
Though both radio programs target a similar demographic (e.g., Spanish-speaking immigrants and Latine individuals in the metro area with emphasis in Aurora, Colorado), Mujeres de COLOR is registering a level of social media popularity that more than triples the reach of our hosting radio partner.
