Colorado Latino Agenda

Our voices are critical for policymaking decisions. And we know that the Latino vote is influential with each election – and will continue to be! This is why we are investing in research and advocacy opportunities where we are the ones setting the agendas and solutions that our communities desperately need.

Launched in 2021, the Colorado Latino Agenda (CLA) is a statewide public research initiative co-led by the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR) and Voces Unidas de las Montañas that publishes relevant and timely in-depth reports about Latinas and Latinos in Colorado.

The Colorado Latino Policy Agenda (CLPA) is our annual, nonpartisan report designed to provide insights into the demographic makeup and views of Latino voters in Colorado on pressing policy, political, and social issues.

Colorado Latino/a Policy Agenda (CLPA)

The Colorado Latino Policy Agenda is an annual, nonpartisan report designed to provide insight for elected officials, community leaders, media, and others interested in the demographic makeup and views of Latinos in Colorado on pressing policy, political, and other relevant issues.

This year’s agenda is based on the largest nonpartisan poll of Latino registered voters ever conducted in Colorado and was commissioned by the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR) and Voces Unidas de las Montañas.

Colorado Latino Exit Poll (CLEP)

The Colorado Latino Exit Poll surveyed 531 Latina and Latino voters across the state, including oversampling in the new 8th CD, and provides insights into the views of a critical demographic in the 2022 midterms. The Colorado Latino Exit Poll will be conducted bi-annually to help bolster research around the attitudes and policy preferences of Latino voters – the state’s second-largest and fastest-growing voting bloc.

Latino/a Advocacy Day (LAD)

For 18 years, we have gathered from across the state to advocate for issues impacting our lives at Latino/a Advocacy Day (LAD). In 2021, we launched the Colorado Latino Policy Agenda to hear from our communities directly on key areas of change we want our elected officials and leaders to work towards. The data collected through this grassroots effort has helped shape our priorities for LAD, and lifts up the work Colorado Latinos have made to move forth progressive change in the legislature for over seventeen years.

LAD is presented by Presented by COLOR and Voces Unidas de las Montañas.

National Latino/a Advocacy Day

For the past two years, we have gathered a small group of community members and participants in Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress to advocate for issues important to the Latino community.
