Become an Aborto Defender with COLOR! 👩🏽💻
This year, we’re launching a unique digital organizing program to train volunteers on how to identify and bust common abortion myths and stigma, as well as challenge misinformation and disinformation about abortion care and access that we often see online
You’ll also learn about how to engage people in conversations about abortion rights and why we must center the experience of our community in this critical time when access to abortion care is in danger. And what’s more – you’ll be a part of a community of passionate COLOR Aborto Defenders to work together and build awareness, dispel stigma, and challenge hate and misinformation.
We believe that we should all be free to make the best decisions for our lives, families, and communities. Unfortunately, hateful rhetoric and misinformation about abortion care often shapes the conversation on abortion rights and leads to dangerous barriers to accessing care. It’s important that we are prepared with the messages and training to counter these attacks and build power for our movement. Through this project, we’ll provide you with hands-on training, and you’ll get to practice responding in real time.
